JOB DESCRIPTIONWatershed Security is looking for an experienced System Administrator (SA) to join our growing team in Charleston, SC. Be part of a multifaceted team providing SA Support to the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse set of systems ensuring continuous operation in a secure manner.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master’s or Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
- Must have8570/8140 IAT II or IAM II certification
- 7 years of relevant experience (Masters), 11 years of relevant experience (Bachelors) systems administration to include:
- Supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstations, file servers, and web servers
- Installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, web page design, interface and updates and local system design documentation.
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.
- Experience training staff on software applicable to their position, assisting customers with information technology, monitoring system configuration (hardware and software), and providing instruction on computers and applications.
- DoD Secret Clearance
- Must be able to report onsite to Charleston, SC Monday – Friday 8am -4.30pm EST
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Individuals should have a deep understanding of computer network operating systems such as Linux and Windows
- Strong communication, problem solving and customer engagement skills
- Candidate shall be familiar with security policies & guidance documents to assist with the preparation and maintenance of process artifacts; traceability documents purposed for compliance with Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
- The specialist shall be capable of evaluating security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing up to classified information and supervise and/or maintain the operational security posture for an information system or program. Individual shall have experience assisting or developing system security policy and ensuring compliance of change management and configuration control processes.

PAY RANGEFinal salary is influenced by factors such as location, contract labor categories, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
